CAMI
Cami comes to us from Chile where she works with the Ski patrol. She is Ski instructor qualified with PSIA, NZSIA L2 and also AIARE L2 Avalanche rescue and First Aid trained. She has worked in the US, Japan and of course Chile.
She loves pizza, choya and lemon tarts, travel and Thai massage. Snowflakes have a special place in her heart.
CAROLINA
The first hint that Caro is in the house is an enthusiastic thunderous roar of laughter echoing off the mountain murals in First Traxx. Carolina teaches Ski and Snowboard and is qualified with PSIA, ENISCHAG, AASIA and MaxxTracks SKI/SB Certification. She has instructed and has also guided people around her beautiful country Chile.
When not teaching Caro makes colorful handcrafted woolly beanies while feeding her inner movie nut and can usually be found rock climbing or exploring a beach somewhere. She enjoys cycling and now cycles even more quickly ever since she had a recent close encounter with a bolt of lightning.
GAVIN
Gavin is the youngest member of the team but brings with him a lot of experience and unlimited enthusiasm for snowsports. Certified SBINZ NZSA L2 and MaxxTracks SKI/SB Gavin has instructed, skied and snowboarded in some of the most beautiful slopes in Japan, New Zealand and Bonnie old Scotland where he comes from.
Gavin is a great fan of the extreme and enjoys wakeboarding, mountain biking and football. He is learning Cantonese and Bangladeshi and needs to have nasi lemak and Irn-Bru at least 4 times a week.
JAN
Jan is First Traxx's very own healthy living enthusiast, traditional medicine proponent and Cacao connoisseur from Hong Kong. He is also a Ski and Snowboard instructor with SBINZ NZSIA L2, NZSIA Childrens SB and MaxxTracks Ski/SB certification.
Jan has spent most of his winters on the slopes and in the many onsen of his spiritual second home Japan. Jan is best known for his Snowboarding mantra: "Stand Up! Back Straight!" which has been embraced by almost all the other instructors.
GEORGE
George is an avid Skier and Snowboarder who has instructed in Japanese resorts beyond the common tourist destinations. Certified L2 NZSIA he spends his spare time practicing flips and rotations on the snow.
Off the mountain he is a keen and accomplished badminton player and also a fan of football, especially Newcastle United. As a true-blue Geordie he is partial to the more than occasional pint of Newkie-Brown with his breakfast.
